Driver Instructions
Description: This driver is for the JVC DLA-RSx D-ILA video projectors connected to the XP processor via RS-232 or Ethernet.
Version History:
Version 1.1: Adds IP control and expands available commands, including allowing raw remote emulation commands.
Version 1.2: adds support for Lamp Hours display and limit warnings.
Version 1.3: Adds Intelligent Aperture Control, HDR Level and Processing, Color Filter and Profile, extra picture modes and an overall 'Raw' command.
Version 1.4: Adds ability to configure network password to allow new 2022 models to be operated by the driver.
Version 1.5: Added medium setting for bulb brightness and fixed aspect ratio setting.
Version 1.51: Adds instructions regarding SHA-256 password requirements.
JVC DLA-RSx (D-ILA) Projectors
Connection Settings: Select either the Network or Serial connection from the Connection Type pull down menu.
Important - For SHA-256 network password on 2022+ models: Copy the password, paste into a SHA-256 generator, add 'JVCKWPJ' to the end of the password, click Generate, then copy that hash and paste it into the driver properties in the 'Network Password' Section.
Variables: Power State has a text variable and multiple boolean variables for maximum flexibility (Power On, Standby, Warming Up, Cooling Down, Not On, Not Off).
Menu Control: The menu and other OSD info will not stay on the screen while the projector is being polled. The driver has a Suspend command to stop polling temporarily.
Raw Commands: Raw Commands are available through the driver for any commands not pre-defined.
