Driver Instructions
This driver controls the Russound MBX family of media players over ethernet. It can control the MBX AMP as a standalone player, and the MBX PRE as either a standalone player, or as part of a larger MCA based multiroom system.
Version History: v1.01 Fixes grouping commands. v1.02 Fixes repeat command, utf-8 encoding, adds Channel Art variable. v1.1 Adds SMZ Internal Streamer source. v1.2 Fixes audio metadata/variables and like/dislike commands.
Connection Type: Fixed (Static) IP address or Auto discovery by device Friendly Name.
Player Mode: Zone mode (default for both AMP and PRE) or Source mode (MBX PRE only, for integration with Russound MCA multiroom system).
Features include: Metadata/playback info, Favorites browsing, Transport controls with visibility variables, Browsing with Context Menu support, Audio control (Volume, Mute, Treble, Bass, Balance), Grouping, and UI page state management.
