Overview
Organizations in Avpro Connect represent companies or teams. Each organization has its own set of members, roles, and application entitlements. You must be an Owner or Org Admin to manage your organization's settings.
To access organization settings, click My Organization in the navigation menu.
Member roles
Every member of an organization is assigned a base role:
Owner — full control over the organization, including billing and settings
Org Admin — can manage members, roles, and request access to applications
Member — standard access based on their assigned custom roles and entitlements
Inviting team members
Go to My Organization and select the Members tab.
Click Invite Member.
Enter the person's email address and select their base role.
Click Send Invite.
The invited person will receive an email with a link to join. If they already have an Avpro Connect account, they'll be added to the organization automatically. If not, they'll be prompted to create one.
Removing a member
In the Members tab, find the member you want to remove.
Click the options menu next to their name and select Remove.
Confirm the removal.
Custom roles
Beyond the base roles, you can create custom roles to grant members specific application permissions within your organization.
Creating a custom role
In My Organization, go to the Roles tab.
Click Create Role.
Give the role a name and select the permissions it should grant (e.g., access to specific apps).
Optionally set it as the default role for new members.
Click Save.
Assigning a custom role to a member
In the Members tab, click the member's name.
Under Roles, select one or more custom roles to assign.
Save the changes.
Organization settings
Owners and Org Admins can update basic organization details:
Name — the display name of your organization
Slug — a short identifier used in URLs
Email domain — if set, users with a matching email domain can automatically join your organization
Application entitlements
Application access is granted at the organization level by Avpro platform administrators. If your organization needs access to a new application, contact your Avpro account representative or reach out to Avpro support.
